Author Profile: Hassan Idris

I started writing in 2016 when I got admission into Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria-Nigeria. The whole of my writing career was first influenced by Sulaiman Ayuba, a PhD student in India. He taught me almost all the rigors of writing most especially Sociological writing not until he introduced me to Creative Club, Gombe State University where I met Adamu Usman Garko, Mujahid Ameen Lilo Salim Akko, Muhammed Rabiu Jibreel, Balkisu Omolayomi, Sultanatul Jameelat, Hisham Saleh, Maryam Maina, Hammad Puma and many others.

Meeting BM Dzukogi, the founder of Hill-Top Creative Arts Foundation, Nigeria changed everything about my writing. That was when I learnt literary writing, creative writing and leadership role. The influence of BM Dzukogi, PhD, Yunana Ahmed, and Muhammad Gaude Nectarine cannot be overemphasized. They were all my mentors. However, meeting Applied Worldwide boosted my Sociological writings and analyses. So, writing gives me joy today and I don’t think I can stop it anytime soon. Nectarine and others assisted me while I was writing my first collection of book (Armageddon Of Love).
